Links that are worth reading…

I am generally willing to talk to anyone about adoption – yet there are some that I just can’t because our values and how we view adoption will never ever be compatible in any way.  Yet at the same time I believe talking to others in adoption helps expand everyone’s views – as long as you are open to hearing the words.

Having said the above – I also think we all fall down in giving others their due for putting their views publicly on their blogs – all the while knowing the backlash those views, can cause them.

Today – blogs I have never linked too, that deserve to be recognised for standing up and speaking out – publicly – against the tide and are walking the walk to make a difference.

Rileys in Uganda – take some time to read more than just this Urgent Warning post and a more recent post that questions where are the adult adoptees voices in the Christian Adoption Movement. (no I won’t use their name on this blog because of how they have co-opted a term, in a way I disagree with).

Alama ya Kitumaini “Sign of Hope” – another blog you need to explore in-depth after reading this postMake sure you read the posts #1 – #6 linked in the right side-bar.

threepostofbuna current post Q & A About Our Work in Relation to International Adoption.

Over on the Adoptee Rights front…iAdoptee put out a challenge to Adoptive Parents and the results of her contest are announced here (go check out the winners and posts they did) and accepted publicly by I Will Pull This Blog Over in this post for writing this post, Adoption Talk here for numerous posts on Adoptee Rights.

There have been so many really good posts lately, but I can’t link to all of them.  Happy reading.
