Holidays can be hard.

Holidays can be good.

Holidays can also be both hard and good at the same time.

Whatever your Holiday ends up being like you are welcome to drop a note of joy, be sad here, be on top of the world one minute and sad the next, or over-the-top happy and filled with joy.

We celebrate Christmas so I’m spending Christmas Eve listening to Christmas Carols and just being, then a quiet Christmas Day with just me and my man. We both crave solitude away from the hustle and bustle and commercialization that this holiday brings. We’ll spend time together and time doing our own things and then top it off with Christmas Dinner.

Share with each other in the comments, but please, be kind.

Be Safe.

It’s my first time hosting Christmas at our home so I’m a bit stressed. The kids are banished from the first floor today. So it can stay clean. So after this year at least I’ll know what to expect from hosting.

Ended up having Christmas lunch with a workmate and her family which was nice. I usually visit family down south. I don’t mind spending it by myself either (it is summer here).

Only presents I sent this year were to my grandnieces (my sister’s grandchildren), hopefully they liked their presents.

I had to come tell you this one πŸ˜€
I woke up to my neighbor friend Mz C calling this morning to ask a favor.

She says, “Something came up blah blah, I can’t make the appointment, blah blah blah, Could you please take Donald Trump to get neutered at 1pm?
Me, Well. Yes. Yes I will! πŸ˜‚

Someone dumped cats on us over the holidays, one was white and orange, and fairly tame.
C named him well lol I hear her outside saying Donald Trump, you better get out of there! Donald Trump! You cannot come in my house! Donald Trump! Leave Melania alone you jerk. It goes on and on. But this morning’s call was the best yet.

I’m thinking I HAVE TO walk in the Vets office and ask, Who wants to cut Donalds Trumps balls off today?

Happy New Year Beth – you’ve certainly started the year off with what I suspect is a big belly laugh. Cheers for sharing such a lovely start to my day and bring a big smile to my face. πŸ™‚

We built a tall cat house so Donald and Melania might have a chance to avoid the coyotes.
        Yep, Trump Tower.
        I can’t take much more. πŸ˜‚
