Review: Ghost of Sangju: A Memoir of Reconciliation from Harlow’s Monkey back in 2015
The author of Ghost of Sangju, Soojung Jo, used to blog at Faith and Illusions years ago, she had the most amazing gift of putting her feelings into words that just gripped you they were so honest and you could almost feel the emotions. Soojung Jo as it relates to adoption is an adoptee, adoptive parent, and contributor at Lost Daughters.

Will do. We’ll see how soon. I’ve got a backlog of adoptee reads to catch up on. So glad for all their voices. Yours too. You have, in many ways, mellowed me from being completely reactionary based…all the time. Taught this half crazed mother (some would doubt the half part) a way to tame it down a bit. Oh, adoptee voices are vital!
