Connecting the dots…

By TAO

I have a post that I have struggled with posting, or not, wondering if it will make me feel better.  I didn’t want to write it, simply because, it shows my more sensitive side.  I am strong, I can get through anything, my emotions do not control me, ever.  I don’t like not being able to push through whatever comes my way.  I always continue on, even if it requires acceptance of things I can’t change, it’s still done on my terms…

Wishing peace, again…

By TAO

Adoption Forum conversations…

By TAO

So-called “adoption positive” language is really just about adoptive parents’ feelings.  It has nothing at all to do with adoptees.”

Most strident response to the above comment on a forum I have seen in long time…

It’s time for change…

By TAO

Magnolia with rain dropsMy search was done via a Confidential Intermediary (also called a CI).  That was never the way I had imagined my search going throughout the years, but I couldn’t physically search, nor was my brain competent enough to do it either.  So, I was left with putting my search in the hands of strangers – not something I would have chosen before, but at the time, I felt I had no choice because it was important to share with them what happened to me, just in case, it could protect them.
