I have to say as a long-time lurker on her blog, I was sorry when Paula from Heart Mind and Seoul stopped blogging and ever so happy that she is back. Paula manages to speak so clearly on really tough subjects and gives the reader some really hard questions to consider themselves.  If only I had her gift.  I am linking on the odd chance some readers here do not know about her blog.  Go read her most recent post.

I would NEVER claim that if my daughter was kidnapped then given to another family, she should just stay with that family if it took me years to find her. That’s INSANE!

I completely understand how an AP in the position of losing their child after finding out he/she had actually been kidnapped would be devastated and even have possibly very legitimate concerns about the welfare of the child being pulled away from the only family they knew.

There is no good answer to this specific situation…this child is going to suffer immensely no matter what the outcome. It baffles me that people are still unwilling to look into serious problems with corruption in adoption (particularly international corruptions from some countries). This is what happens when corruption goes unanswered.

Exactly Sarah – which is why I keep harping on it…but it seems like there are only a few strong enough to talk about it and from the other 95% there is only the sound of crickets chirping…

Tell me your thoughts, but please be nice...
