Note to self…

05 Aug
When approached by a prospective adoptive parent and asked about whether all adoptees hate their parents use pat answer #1.
Pat Answer #1
I think being adopted is the best thing that could ever happen to anyone, and I believe that all babies born should be immediately placed for adoption and adopted by deserving parents.
For really annoying prospective adoptive parents use pat answer #2.
Pat Answer #2
Adoption is such a win-win-win I don’t know why everyone does not place their child for adoption.  There are only positives to being adopted.
#1 You don’t have to grow up with people with a biological connection to you.
#2 Even better you don’t have stick around with your mother – you already spent 9 months inside of her so she’s old news now.
#3 Why would you want to grow up with people who look or think like you – it’d be boring for sure.
#4 Family medical health history can keep you healthy and productive – much better to be sick because then people will take care of you.
#5 You learn early to be strong and develop a strong survival instinct.
With all these bonuses I am sure that once biological children find out they were denied they will rise up and become a nation of angry bios…
Seriously people – if you don’t want an honest answer about a complicated subject – don’t ask.

    Can I add one?

Who wouldn’t rather be chosen than stuck with the family you were born to, especially if I can get more stuff, and better opportunities? Can I have that in writing first?

Do you know what would be even better? If somehow we, the adoptee, could do the choosing. Wouldn’t all those non adopted people be jealous?
    Love it.
